Montcalm Community College’s Cross Country team competed in the Ray Helsing Invitational at Ferris State University on Saturday, September 7. 

Leading the way for the women's squad was Annette Fare who placed placing 15th overall with a time of 21:00. Fare was followed by Hannah Reed who placed 27th with a time of 23:48 and Carman Jones who placed 28th overall with a time of 24:26. 

On the men's team, Ryan Hardy led, finishing 30th overall with a time of 29:22. Keegan Shafer finished 46th overall with a time of 31:25 and Cole Halfman finished 47th overall with a time of 32:48. 
 

MCC's next race is Friday, September 13 at the Knight-Raider Invitational at Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Mich.
