The Montcalm Community College golf team kicked off the Fall 2024 season at the LTU Collegiate Kickoff in Crystal Mountain, Mich. The Invitational was a two-day tournament consisting of 3 rounds. MCC was the only two-year college to play at the invitational competing against NAIA and NCAA DII members: Lawerence Tech (A), Lake Superior State, Indiana University East, Madonna (A), Rio Grande, Lawrence Tech (B), Concordia, Saint Francis, Lawerence Tech (C), and Madonna (B).  

At the end of the invitational, MCC finished 3rd behind Lawrence Tech (A) and Lake Superior State.  

The Centurions had three athletes finish in the top ten individually. Zach Johnson finished 6th, Mason Blair finished 7th and Ryan Clingenpeel finished 8th. 

The Centurions will compete in their next event on Monday, September 16, at the Schoolcraft College Invitational with a tee time of 9 a.m.
