MCC offers advising for fall classes
Call-in and walk-in advising sessions for Montcalm Community College’s 2023 fall semester are available and are intended to be brief meetings with an MCC counselor to answer specific questions regarding fall coursework. For a phone or Teams appointment, please call 989-328-1264 to have your name added to the queue. An advisor or counselor will return your call in the order it is received. For an in-person session, stop by the Student Success Center in the upper level of the Donald C. Burns Administration/Library Building on MCC’s Sidney campus. The queue order will be followed regardless of the location. There may be extensive wait times. Hours are:
- Aug. 1 and 2: 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Aug. 7 and 8: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Aug. 9 and 10: 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Aug. 14 and 15: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Aug. 16: 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Aug. 21, 22, 23 and 24: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Students may add in-person courses only up to the time of the first class meeting. Online and open lab classes can be added until Aug. 23 at midnight. Please check the start date of the classes you are interested in. If you receive financial aid, please talk to the Financial Aid office before signing in to meet with a counselor or advisor to make sure you have funding in place for payment.
