The Montcalm Community College Centurions Men’s and Women’s Cross Country teams competed in the Knight-Raider Invitational at Calvin University on Sept. 13.

Annette Fare let the charge for the women’s team finishing the 5K course in 20:50. This time qualified Annette under MCC’s internal standards for the NJCAA Division II National Championship race in November. Fare was followed by Hannah Reed and Carman Jones.

On the men’s side, Ryan Hardy was the first finisher for the Centurions finishing in a time of 28:56 for the 8K course. He was followed by Keegan Shafer to round out the men’s team

MCC’s next race is Friday, Sept. 20, at Muskegon Community College.
