Kimi Cunningham Grant, author of this year’s One Book selection “These Silent Woods,” will introduce her newest book, “The Nature of Disappearing,” during the One Book One County Montcalm closing event on Thursday, Sept. 26, at 6 p.m. on MCC’s Greenville campus.

During the closing celebration, she will read an excerpt from her new book, which hit shelves on June 18, followed by a moderated interview and question and answer time.

Described as “poignant, suspenseful, and unforgettable, ‘The Nature of Disappearing’ explores what it takes to start over – and the cost of letting the past pull you back in.” It is one of Goodreads’ “Readers’ most anticipated summer books.’”
